TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Overview:
All that is mentioned in the paragraphs below is “for the sake of brevity´. Without prejudice to rights and conditions “Studio Consilio shall, always strive to be fair to its’s customers”.

3. Manufacturing, Delivery & Installation:
- Manufacturing –
- Manufacturing shall commence 48 hours after 100% payment. In case of bespoke / custom-made designed furniture, manufacturing shall commence 48 hours after 100% payment or after design has been approved & signed-off by the customer;
Note: For bespoke / custom-made designed furniture, no more than two (2) revisions in the design shall be allowed in the earlier settle fee. Any revisions beyond this, customer shall be charged appropriately at the discretion of the company;
- Manufacturing durations are subject to Force Majeure conditions (Pandemics & lockdowns in specific) & also procurement & / or availability of 3rd party fittings & fixtures / accessories;
- At the time of commencement of manufacturing, our customer care will intimate you on the approximate time required to deliver the product based on how busy our manufacturing unit is & on the engagement of our workers, manufacture of products as per priority;
- Delivery –
- Our support & delivery teams will be in touch with you for a hassle-free delivery.
- Free delivery is only applicable for the first attempt to deliver at your shipping address. If a customer misses this delivery, an extra visiting charge will be applicable for the second attempt.
- In absence of a service lift, our delivery partner shall only make a delivery to the ground floor of your apartment. Extra charges applicable per floor on delivery to the customer’s floor (on request) in such cases.
- Extra charges applicable for weekend or time-specific delivery.
- Your product(s) will be held for 10 days at our factory / the nearest delivery hub if you’ve failed to receive the delivery. Beyond 10 days, we shall not be held accountable/liable for any damages and if desired by your damages shall be rectified at an additional cost including delivery charges to be paid before delivery.
- Installation –
- Depending on the delivery condition, your product may or may not require installation assistance upon delivery.
- If The Delivery Condition Is:
- Pre-assembled – no installation is required. The product comes fully assembled & ready to use.
- Expert Assembly – expert assistance is required, for which we will provide carpenters to carry out proper installation & assembly.
- Basic assembly/DIY – the product requires minimal installation/assembly, which can be carried out by the customer using simple tools & assembly instructions provided. No expert assistance required.
- If in the event the customer chooses to self-assemble delivered product which may or may not require “Expert assembly” or “Basic Assembly/DIY”, Studio Consilio (OPC) Pvt Ltd shall not be held accountable for damages that occur during “self-assembly” or re-positioning of product/s.
4. Care & Instructions
- Clean the dirt from the furniture using a slightly damp cotton cloth. Ensure cleansers are suitable for the furniture material. Test a small portion before applying any cleanser. Immediately wipe the moisture with a dry, soft, & lint-free cloth.
- Vacuum the fabric of your furniture periodically with a soft-bristle brush attachment to remove dirt & prevent it from getting trapped in fibres.
- In case of a spill, blot the stain with a clean, dry cloth in a gentle manner. Please make sure you do not use coarse material or rub the spot briskly.
- Use mats & coasters before keeping any hot or cold items on the surface.
- Ensure that the furniture does not have any exposure to moisture.
- Ensure that the furniture does not have any exposure to direct sunlight to retain the colour or polish of the product.
- Keep sharp objects away from your furniture to avoid cuts & scratches.
- Avoid chemical contact with the furniture as it may harm the natural finish & durability of the product.
- Please note:
- Do not drag the furniture to relocate it, as this might weaken the joints. Instead, lift the furniture if you want to move it.
- The product is not designed to be child-proof
5. Warranty:
- This product comes with a 1-year warranty which covers manufacturing defects, inherent termites & borer issues.
- For upholstered products, the warranty applies to the frame, mechanisms, if any.
- This limited warranty does not apply to the following:
- Normal wear & tear of the product over prolonged use.
- Small cuts, scratches, or damages due to wrong cleaning methods or impacts/accidents.
- Damage caused due incorrect installation/assembly by the customer.
- Damage owing to incorrect use or misuse by the customer.
- Damage due to fire after installation.
- Cracks developed due to displacement of the product.
- Fading due to direct exposure to sunlight.
- Decaying due to consistent exposure to water.
- Upholstery fabrics such as – but not limited to – covers have no warranty.
- Non-standard dry-cleaning procedures or use of harsh chemicals.
- Customer premises that have been kept shut or the product is in the original packaging or any other packaging/covering for a long period, which may entertain the growth mould etc. Studio Consilio (OPC) Pvt Ltd will not be held accountable for such damages or conditions dealing to such damages.
- Accessories / 3rd party fittings & fixtures – viz. lights, wires, etc. – shall carry a warranty of maximum 3-months from the date of delivery.
- As per the industry standards, unevenness as per the tolerances allowable in relevant Indian Standard Codes is accepted widely. Unevenness can also be due to differences in floor & surface levels. This is not covered in warranty.

- Understanding Your Product:
- Accessories shown in the photograph are meant for representation purposes only & are not part of the actual product.
- Furniture products having intricate & hand-painted details have been meticulously created by skilled craftsmen, following on the footsteps of several generations of accomplished artisans. Each piece of such Furniture is, thus, unique, & there is a possibility of slight differences between the picture & the actual product.
- Placing An Order:
- Please check the dimensions of your entrance/door to your premise before buying, so that there is no problem in getting the product inside at the time of delivery. In such a situation, we will not be able to accept return or cancellation requests. Certain items require no assembly & can be used as-is. For this, please check the item details. Wherever we assist with assembly, the carpenter visits will be scheduled.
- Payment Terms:
- Payment shall be made 100% in advance for ready-to-buy furniture. For bespoke / custom-made designed furniture, a rough quote of the furniture shall be provided to the customer of which 50% shall be paid as advance before commencing the design & the remaining shall be paid before manufacturing. The 50% advance shall be non-refundable.
- Cancellation:
- Customer shall cancel within 48 hours of order placement. Any cancellation after 48 hours & within 72 hours, 80% of the payment made shall be forfeited & only 20% of the purchase price shall be returned. Cancellation beyond 72 hours, 100% payment shall be forfeited.
- Returns:
- Returns not excepted. However, any exchange of products unpacked products shall be possible only within 24hrs of delivery.
- Damages:
- Our delivery arrangements to your home have been designed to ensure a zero-damage & hassle-free experience. Please contact us immediately if you received a damaged or defective product, bring it in the notice of delivery personnel immediately at the time of delivery & report a complaint to customer care at customerservice@studioconsilio.kwebmakerdigitalagency.com . Damage & defect will be assessed in 72 hours, & a solution will be provided. If in the opinion, the product is broken, it may be returned/replaced, or any other corrective measure may be taken, as deemed appropriate by us, to address the issue
- Any missing parts required in the assembly of the product for self-assembly products should be immediately notified to the Customer Support team, so that they can be arranged to be delivered to you as soon as possible.
- Subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai only.
7. Disclaimer:
- The accessories showcased in the image are just to give an idea about the setup. These are not a part of the product unless specified.
- In the case of solid wood-based furniture, the wood grain might slightly vary from product to product.
- Intricate design or hand-paint might have slight variation between the picture & the actual product.
- In accordance with the different screen settings & resolutions, there might be a minute difference in fabric colour & wood finish between the website images & actual product.
